This cookie policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on the sparkagregat.si website and its language versions, operated by E-DISTI d.o.o., Litijska cesta 259, 1261 Ljubljana – Dobrunje, Slovenia, VAT ID: SI72537094 (“E-DISTI”, “SPARK”, “we”, “us” or “our”), why we use them and how you can manage your preferences.
Please read this policy together with our Privacy policy, which describes how we handle your personal data.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet or smartphone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work properly, improve their performance and provide information to website owners.
Similar technologies — such as local storage and session storage — serve comparable purposes and are also covered by this policy.
2. How we use cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- Essential operation — to enable the basic functions of the online shop, such as the cart, checkout and payment
- Preferences — to remember your choice of light or dark display mode and your cookie consent decision
- Performance and analytics — where the tools are enabled and you have given consent: to understand how visitors use our website
- Marketing — where the tools are enabled and you have given consent: to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns
- Campaign attribution — to attribute the inquiries and orders you submit to their traffic source (the campaign parameters in the link through which you arrived); this is necessary for processing your inquiry or order and does not use third-party cookies
- Embedded content — to play presentation videos hosted on YouTube
3. Consent and Consent Mode
On your first visit, the consent banner allows you to accept or reject non-essential cookies or manage your preferences by category (analytics, marketing, functional). Your decision is saved in your browser’s local storage and you can change it at any time (see Section 6).
Where analytics or advertising tools are enabled on the website, we use Google Consent Mode v2: measurement tags load for every visitor, but your decision determines what they are allowed to store. If you accept cookies, analytics and marketing cookies are set as described below; if you reject them, no analytics or marketing cookies are set on your device, and measurement is limited to aggregated, cookieless signals that cannot be linked to you. Strictly necessary cookies are set in both cases.
The analytics and advertising tools (Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity) are prepared on the website but were not enabled at the time this policy was published. Once we enable them, the cookies listed in Sections 4.3 and 4.4 will be set only with your consent.
4. Types of cookies we use
We classify cookies according to their duration (session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them) and according to their origin (first-party cookies are set by our website; third-party cookies are set by external services).
4.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the online shop to function and cannot be disabled. They enable basic functions such as the cart, checkout and payment processing. Under EU law, no consent is required for these cookies.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| woocommerce_cart_hash | WooCommerce | Stores a hash of the cart contents to detect changes | Session |
| woocommerce_items_in_cart | WooCommerce | Indicates whether there are products in the cart | Session |
| wp_woocommerce_session_* | WooCommerce | Stores a unique session identifier to maintain the state of the cart and checkout | 2 days |
| woocommerce_recently_viewed | WooCommerce | Stores recently viewed products | Session |
| __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | Stripe | Fraud prevention and secure card payment processing; set on the checkout page | 1 year / 30 minutes |
| PayPal cookies | PayPal | Secure execution of payment via a PayPal account; set when you choose PayPal payment | See PayPal policy |
4.2 Order attribution cookies
These cookies are set by the built-in WooCommerce order attribution system so that we understand how customers discover our website. This data is attached to orders, allowing us to see which traffic sources lead to purchases. They fall under the functional cookie category in the consent settings.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sbjs_current, sbjs_current_add | WooCommerce | Stores data about the current traffic source (source, medium, campaign, landing page, referrer) | 6 months |
| sbjs_first, sbjs_first_add | WooCommerce | Stores data about the traffic source of the visitor’s first visit | 6 months |
| sbjs_session | WooCommerce | Tracks page views within an active session | 30 minutes |
| sbjs_udata, sbjs_migrations | WooCommerce | Stores the number of visits, browser data (user agent) and internal version data | 6 months |
4.3 Analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand how the website is used, measure traffic and identify which pages and content are most useful. They are set only with your consent and only when the tool concerned is enabled.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Assigns a unique anonymous identifier to distinguish individual visitors | 2 years |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics | Maintains session state for measurement within Google Analytics 4 | 2 years |
| _clck, _clsk, CLID | Microsoft Clarity | Identifier for usage analysis (heatmaps, session recordings) and for linking page views within a session | 1 year / 1 day / 1 year |
Google and Microsoft may transfer data outside the EEA on the basis of standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. See the Google privacy policy and the Microsoft privacy statement.
4.4 Marketing cookies
These cookies measure the effectiveness of our advertising and may be used to show relevant ads on other platforms. They are set only with your consent and only when the tool concerned is enabled.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au | Google Ads | Stores ad click data for conversion measurement | 3 months |
| _fbp, _fbc | Meta (Facebook) | Identifies the browser for delivering and measuring ads via Meta Pixel; stores the click identifier when you arrive via an ad | 3 months |
Meta may transfer data outside the EEA. For more information, see the Meta privacy policy.
4.5 Embedded content (YouTube)
The product presentation videos on our website are hosted on YouTube and embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). In this mode, YouTube does not set cookies until you start playing a video. When you press the play button, YouTube may store identifiers on your device (such as VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE and YSC) to provide the player and measure playback. See the Google privacy policy.
4.6 Map (CARTO)
The map on the contact page loads map tiles from CARTO servers (OpenStreetMap data). The tiles load as images without cookies; when they load, the CARTO server receives your IP address. See the CARTO privacy policy.
5. Local storage
In addition to cookies, our website uses the browser’s local storage to store certain preferences and attribution data persistently. Data in local storage is stored only in your browser:
| Key | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| esa-theme | Stores your light/dark display mode preference | Persistent (until you change it) |
| esa_cookie_consent | Stores your cookie consent decision so that we do not ask you again on every visit | Persistent (until you change it) |
| esa_attribution | Stores the campaign parameters and advertising click identifiers from the URL through which you arrived, so that an inquiry or order you submit later can be attributed to the correct campaign. This is a strictly necessary record for processing your inquiry or order; the data is transmitted only together with a form or order that you submit yourself and is not shared with advertising platforms | 30 days |
6. Managing your cookie preferences
When you first visit our website, the consent banner allows you to accept or reject non-essential cookies or manage your preferences by category. You can change your decision at any time.
6.1 Via our website
Use the “Cookie settings” button at the top of this page to reopen the consent banner and update your preferences.
6.2 Via your browser
Most web browsers allow you to manage cookies through their settings. You can usually view and delete existing cookies, block all cookies or only third-party cookies, and set preferences for individual websites. Please note that blocking essential cookies may impair the functioning of the online shop, including the cart, checkout and payment. For instructions for your browser:
To delete data in local storage, clear the site data for sparkagregat.si in your browser.
6.3 Opting out of analytics and advertising
- Google Analytics: install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on
- Facebook: adjust your Facebook ad settings
- General advertising opt-out: visit Your Online Choices (EU)
7. Updates to this policy
We may update this cookie policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, legal requirements or our services. Changes will be published on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. We will inform you of material changes via the consent banner.
8. Legal basis
In accordance with Directive 2002/58/EC (the ePrivacy Directive), as transposed into Slovenian legislation (ZEKom-2, the Electronic Communications Act), and in conjunction with the GDPR:
- Strictly necessary cookies and preferences you explicitly select (for example, display mode) are stored without consent, as they are essential for the service you have requested
- All other cookies (analytics, marketing, functional) are placed only after you have given informed consent via the consent banner; if you reject them, measurement takes place only in aggregated, cookieless form, as described in Section 3
You can withdraw your consent at any time, as described in Section 6.
