For larger and industrial sites, we carry out a technical site visit.

Working with your electrician

We supply the equipment and include detailed diagrams for your electrician.

Safety first

Why is professional installation essential?

An improperly connected generator is not only a risk of equipment failure — it can seriously compromise the safety of your building and the electrical grid.

Protection against backfeeding

Incorrect wiring can send electrical current back into the public grid, which is lethal for workers on the distribution network.

Correct exhaust gas extraction

An unsuitable exhaust installation creates a risk of carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning.

Adequate ventilation and cooling

For stable operation, a generator needs a sufficient supply of fresh air and heat extraction.

Flawless automatic transfer switching (ATS)

A correctly integrated ATS system ensures the generator switches on automatically within a few seconds of a mains power failure.

Installation process

From idea to start-up

  1. Tailored to the size of the project

    Consultation and technical assessment

For industrial and larger generators: Our engineers visit your site, carry out a technical survey of the location, check cable routes and ventilation requirements, and prepare a project solution.

For home and smaller generators: We provide advice quickly and remotely – based on your photos of the electrical cabinet and the planned installation location.

  2. Preparation and delivery

Delivery and positioning of the unit

We take care of safe transport and set the generator on a prepared base (concrete slab or anti-vibration mount).

  3. Carried out by the SPARK team

Complete installation by the SPARK team

Our certified installers carry out the full connection to your electrical system, install the automatic transfer switch (ATS) and arrange the exhaust gas extraction and fuel supply.

  4. A tailored solution for home generators

    Connection by your local electrician

Already have an electrician you trust? Great! We supply your electrician with all the necessary switching equipment (ATS or manual switch), include detailed technical instructions and wiring diagrams, and our technical team is available for phone support during the work.

  5. Operational check

    Load testing

We simulate a mains power failure, check the automatic start and measure voltage stability under load.

  6. Handover of the unit

    Training and handover

We hand over the complete documentation and instruct the user on safe use, operating the control panel and maintenance intervals.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Ask a question

Because of the complexity of the work, we carry out site visits mainly for industrial and larger generator systems. For home and portable generators, we prepare the installation plan remotely – all we need is some basic information and photos of your electrical cabinet and the planned installation location.

Of course. If you have your own electrician, we can supply just the generator and a suitable ATS transfer cabinet. We give your electrician detailed wiring diagrams and provide technical support by phone, so that the connection is completely safe and complies with the warranty conditions.

For houses, a standard connection with an ATS switch usually takes just 1 working day. For more complex industrial projects, the time needed depends on the scope of the construction and electrical installation work.

Before we prepare a quote or connection instructions, we will ask you for:

  1. A photo of your main electrical cabinet (outside and inside).
  2. A photo of where the generator will stand (indoors or outdoors).
  3. The approximate distance between the generator and the electrical cabinet.

If you have an automatic transfer system (ATS) installed, the controller detects the mains voltage failure, starts the generator automatically and switches the building’s supply to the generator within a few seconds. When mains power returns, the system switches back and safely shuts down the generator.

Make sure your building is ready for any power outage

Don’t risk incorrect wiring or unsuitable equipment. Get in touch with our experts – for industrial sites we will arrange a technical site visit, and for home generators we will prepare a quick quote or equipment for your electrician.
